Chicago. Red Star Inn German Restaurant. It was famous for it's great German food and it was one of the more well known restaurants in the Near North.
This old Victorian building was demolished to make way for housing projects. I sketched this building just before it was demolished. This is an original silk screen print that I printed by hand back in the 1970's. I used brown ink and printed the image on white paper stock. Note: I hand signed this in pencil.
