Artist's Description
Wisconsin Barn. With King Midas Flour Advertising on it. I discovered this barn while driving and exploring the southern part of Wisconsin and the northern part of Illinois. Very few of these type barns exist today...I doubt if this old barn is still standing now. Painting is matted, framed and under plexi glass with a very simple gold metal frame.

Hi George - thank you for your kind thoughts...I do appreciate them. Just visited your website and realized how powerful your style and execution are. Great paintings. You certainly are the master of your medium.

A wonderful painting contrasting the modern silo and the lovely old barn and setting. Your handling of watercolor is phenominal - the detail of the siding and yet the direct, loose handling of the piece in general is masterful. I love what I do but compared to this freshness my work must look anal. Watercolor scares the bejeebers out of me.
